Moving Beyond Secondary Compliance to Bilingual Brilliance by Design

In recent years, secondary schools have seen drastic changes in the students and communities they serve forcing leaders to consider how to best serve their needs. Learn how one district is re-envisioning bilingual programming to serve its changing community. Participants will see the programmatic shifts needed to account for the various bilingual programs needed and the strategic changes necessary to support these shifts. Participants will also learn about how the district used course curriculum and teacher coaching as entry points to the asset-based instructional improvements needed to ensure bilingual brilliance by design.
