About me
I am a dedicated educator, strategist, and advocate with over a decade of experience supporting multilingual learners. As the Senior Strategist for Multilingual Learning and Dual Language Education at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, I collaborate with districts, schools, and teachers to develop and expand high-quality dual language programming. My work includes guiding program design, facilitating professional development, and providing tools to support culturally and linguistically sustaining practices.
With a Postdoctoral Research Associateship in Bilingual and Dual Language Education and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Teaching, my expertise lies in promoting asset-based multilingual learning, pedagogical translanguaging, and holistic bilingualism. I am passionate about helping educators leverage students’ cultural knowledge and linguistic strengths to create inclusive classrooms where all learners thrive.
